April 14, 2021 | Bailey MahonThe snow is melting. The sun is shining. Spring has sprung! Or has it? This time of year, the weather can never seem to make up its mind. One day could be a sunny day at the beach. The next, you may need to ask Noah to build another ark. Whatever the weather, you’ll need a beer to make it through. 2021 April Fools Beers That Are Almost Too Believable
April 1, 2021 | Aaron Gore 2April Fool’s Day is both the dream and the nightmare of every brewery’s marketing team. With peoples’ expectations already primed for nonsense and whimsy, it is an opportunity for the industry to reflect on its own excesses and eccentricities in a fun way. While we joke that being able to tell the difference between the joke and reality has become more difficult in recent years, that only further underscores the incredible creativity and inventiveness of the craft beer industry as a whole. Here are some of our favorites from this year.

Ultimate 6er | The Bounty Hunters Hunt Down Great Beer
December 23, 2020 | Marc BeckleyBounty Hunters may like to consume more than Blue Milk. It’s also possible they enjoy some mystical ale fermented on Endor with its unique natural yeast and microbiota that must add a unique flavor to the ale not seen on planet Earth. The Bounty Hunters fill Star Wars lore and their stories have given us fantasy and fascination with the likes of characters such as the Mandalorian. Freelance Bounty Hunters must enjoy our planet’s exquisite craft beer on special occasions (never when piloting their aircraft!) and this is what we have chosen based on their backgrounds and personality. For the uneventful weekday an easy-drinking Lager, such as the Big Yellow Truck by Territorial Brewing, might commonly be found in the bounty hunter ships in the beer fridge or cooler.
Drink Beer, Do Yoga, Support Local
May 12, 2020 | Rachel MorrisonJust about everything looks different than it did a few months ago: We’re buying to-go beer and drinking at home because many of us cannot enjoy our favorite beverage at a local brewery or bar right now. Overnight, breweries have turned into delivery companies specializing in contactless delivery and carry out. Innovation is the name of the game and many breweries are offering creative options for people to stay entertained, from gift baskets to DIY pizza kits.
The fitness industry has drastically shifted as well. We cannot currently take large group fitness classes and instead are forced to participate in at-home workouts, oftentimes with dogs and small children attempting to join in.

What We’re Drinking | October 20, 2017
October 20, 2017 | Constance Del RioIt’s been a crazy couple weeks here in the Bay Area. The North Bay is on fire, taking so many people’s livelihoods, homes, and wineries, and now Santa Cruz is on fire. Our air quality was on par with Beijing! Not to mention some people took advantage of the fires and looted, so not okay. This week the air quality has gotten back to tolerable levels and the relief efforts have been amazing to see roll in. Lots of Bay Area Breweries and Tap rooms held fundraisers for different funds! Take a load off and take a look at What We’re Drinking!
