2016 GABF Route Preview | Fruit Beers Route
For the past month and a half our staff has been reaching out to every brewery attending the Great American Beer Festival to try to preview what they’ll be bringing to the fest. As part of that research, we’ve sifted through that list of beers to bring you a series of themed routes to help you plan for your GABF based on various styles and flavors.

We kicked things off on Monday with a preview of the Big Beers Route, Tuesday featured Funk, Sours and Wilds. Wednesday’s route featured Hoppy Beers and yesterday we brought you the Odd/Unique Ingredients route. Today we’ve got your fruit forward gems to help sweeten things up a bit.
Fruit Beer Route
Assclown Brewing
Barrel Aged Sour Stout- We have brewed this American-Style Stout with blueberries, soured it with our own house sour strain and aged it for one year in first-use Cabernet barrels.
Avery Brewing
Lilikoi Kepolo- Adding a tropical island flair to a spicy traditional witbier, Liliko’i erupts with monumental passionfruit aroma and acidity along with a sublimely succulent finish.
Bell’s Brewing
Raspberry Wild One- Raspberry Wild One begins, not as a single beer, but distinct batches fermented in wooden foeders each with its own array of flavors. Our brewers sample and blend to taste, resulting in a refreshing brown ale with a tartness buoyed by fragrant aromas

Watermelon Waterloo- Sour-mashed wheat beer berliner fermented with watermelon
Bolo Beer
Mulberry Pale Ale- SMaSH pale with wild mulberries added in the fermenter
Bosque Brewing
Elephants on Parade- Raspberry, cranberry and cherry American style wheat ale. One pound of fruit per gallon!

Miami Madness- Our world famous Florida Weisse is brewed with Guava, Mango and Passionfruit.

Friek- Created by combining framboises (raspberries) with kriek lambic style ales. We took ales fermented with wild yeast and tart cherries and moved them into oak barrels to age and sour—taking on the cherry flavors. Then, immediately prior to the final blending

Upslope Belgian Style Blonde Ale (with Guava)- A sessionable Belgian Style Blonde Ale brewed with guava – a light sipper with a tropical touch.
