Anderson Valley | Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale

Anderson Valley Fall Hornin' Pumpkin Ale
Kristin Hubbard

ABV: 6.0% | IBU: 20

Oh, the time has come once again for the leaves to turn and the crisp, autumn air to enter.

Anderson Valley’s Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale employs a zesty use of nutmeg and soft cinnamon to accompany a pleasant light to medium body. Meanwhile, the roasted malts offer a sweet caramel bread-iness and a moderate pumpkin warmth on the finish.

There’s a thin lacing that remains after the head dies down which leaves a perfect lingering aroma – brown sugar, a subtle hop and a hint of clove. Just as warmth vanishes so abrupt from the mid months of the year, this beer satiates the want of pumpkin flavors and helps one remember the beauty of summer but previews the boldness of fall.
