Bout that time again folks, the season of spook is upon us! Ghosts are waiting to be busted and basic witches near and far are happily sipping on their nonfat pumpkin spice lattes in between capturing the ultimate fall foliage selfies.

I myself am guilty of going overboard around this time of year too — excessive holiday-themed decorations, particularly for Halloween, bring me an abnormal amount of joy. Sometimes, I think that this fascination was inspired by the ever-epic KXVO “Pumpkin Dance” (see below) that resurfaces to make its internet rounds every fall. Other times, I wonder if it’s the basic witch within me begging to be freed as she cackles and strings up yet another fake spider web while Hocus Pocus plays in the background.
