Avery Brewing 24th Anniversary Party Pour List Showcases Rarities

In 2016 Avery Brewing Company joined the ranks of the country’s top 50 breweries by volume. Their ranking as the country’s 48th largest brewery represents more than just the tangible results of a $27 million, 67,000 square foot expansion, that took place the year prior into their new Gunbarrel facility. Moreover, this distinction also signals Avery’s maturation as a company from their modest days brewing out of the nondescript alley of their original Arapahoe Ave location.

Boulder’s forefather of demonstratively expressive, high ABV gems and complex barrel-aged wilds and sours celebrates its 24th Anniversary this year, and while those anniversary parties have also matured beyond the nefariously generous allocations of drink tickets, this year’s pour list will continue the tradition of paying homage to Avery’s illustrious past while also celebrating the innovations of today.

This year’s Avery Brewing 24th Anniversary Party takes place Saturday, August 5 from 3-8pm and features the music of the Glovebox Money, Head for the Hills and Monophonics. A new ticketing model caters toward music lovers, casual beer drinkers and the die-hards who are down to party.

The $15 Music Lover ticket includes entry to the festival to enjoy the music. The $30 Base Layer ticket includes live music, a custom glass, a welcome beer, and two drink tickets, and the $55 Aficionado ticket includes all the perks from the Base Layer ticket package plus four additional beer tickets, and a food voucher.

Replete with a mix of mainstay classics, foil top barrel-aged gems, taproom only experimental offerings, and Travis Rupp’s now famous historical ale resurrections, this year’s pour list is truly a representation of Avery’s evolution. Avery’s Anniversary Party benefits American Rivers, a non-profit that protects wild rivers, restores damaged rivers, and conserves clean water.

Tickets are currently available for sale here.
