What We’re Drinking | September 29, 2017

What We're Drinking
Dan Bortz

It’s almost October. Why is it so damn hot outside? I’m usually a lover of spring and fall, so this unseasonable warmth has to stop. Instead of enjoying Porters and Brown Ales outside, I’m drinking Session IPAs and Pilsners in the air conditioning like some kind of animal! When will the insanity end?! In an attempt to stay cool and kill time while autumn drags its feet, I prepared a special double-issue for you to enjoy. Fire up the AC, pack yourself in ice and get ready to see What We’re Drinking.

Oktoberfest | Buckledown Brewing

What We're Drinking
“Size matters.” – Mathew Powers

Sublime Citrus Wit | Starr Hill Brewery

What We're Drinking
“Max and I enjoying the last of summer after some landscaping. A fresh, perky beer for 80 degrees.” – Stacey Goers

Orderville | Modern Times Beer

What We're Drinking
Intensely hoppy and dank on the aroma and equally delivering in the flavor. Such a good IPA you might have to call I to your favorite beer podcast about it! (Perfect Pour Pod)” – Jose Minaya

Even More Jesus & Even More Coco Jesus | Evil Twin Brewing

Voss IPA | Matchless Brewing

Double Dry Hopped Hopperella | Odd13 Brewing

What We're Drinking
“New England IPA with Citra, Centennial, El Dorado, and Galaxy hops.” – K.C. Cunilio

Spellbinder | Wren House Brewing Co.

Eureka! | Tree House Brewing Co.

What We're Drinking
“Sensational beer! The Galaxy and Nelson Sauvim has the depth and nuance to defy some of the best beers by Treehouse. Incredibly drinkable and soft with popping taste of hops all throughout. Thanks Adam!” – Scott Johnson

Fruhauf | Pollyanna Brewing Co.

What We're Drinking
“GABF bronze (’16) Pollyanna Fruhauf — Marzen. These boots are made for drinking.” – Mathew Powers

Sweet Buzz Honey IPA | Brew Detroit

What We're Drinking
“Detroit Brew Co. Sweet Buzz Honey IPA. Really mellow honey that blunts the IPA from being to bite-y” – Danny King

Barrel-Aged Woodthrush | Little Fish Brewing Co.
