Aug. 10: Slammer’s Fest
This one is for suburbanites born in the 90s that want to relive the sounds of their youth! 350 Brewing Co. and the Joliet Slammers will be throwing a free concert with Everclear, Bowling for Soup, Alien Ant Farm and Lights Over Bridgeport and more. Rock out to pop punk classics, as you enjoy 350’s beer and food offerings. Who can handle this much nostalgia for free? Aug. 10: Act Natural: Natural Wine & Wild Beer Festival
Hopewell Brewing Co. is celebrating the intersection of wild beer and natural wine, and you’re invited to attend. The brewery’s first natural wine and wild beer fest will be hosted at Sleeping Village. The $40 general admission ticket gives attendees access to 20 sample pours of beer, wine and cider. Aug. 17: Mead Fest 2019
DMen Tap is hosting its second annual festival of all things fermented honey and water, Mead Fest 2019! Offering access to flights of mead of both the professional and home-brewed persuasion, Mead Fest welcomes all levels of mead appreciators to come and relish in the delectable beverage.

Aug. 17: Half Acre’s The Big North
Half Acre’s annual celebration of beer and music returns to the Balmoral taproom. The brewery promises access to new, cellared and never before seen Half Acre beers, all while the sweet sounds of Allah-Las, Skip Church, The Cowboys and Oozing Wound serenade the crowd.
