Details: 4 gallons of foraged prickly pear fruit from the Sedona desert in Arizona by brewery friend Gary Lueck was processed down to 1 gallon of juice then sent up to Strange Craft Beer Company and added to this weeks #travelingonebarrelwednesday brew. This prickly pear Saison resonates with notes of soft watermelon showcasing a beautiful rose color making this a Saison to sip and enjoy.

New Year New Beers @ Great Divide Brewing Company (Denver) – 2201 Arapahoe St, Denver, Colorado

Details: Sure Great Divide has been brewing classics such as Denver Pale Ale, Yeti and Titan for years, but we also have an impressive rotating slate of seasonal, Tank Farm and Barrel Aged beers. Beyond that, our brewers are always experimenting on our pilot system which inspired us to start releasing those beers every Thursday at both taprooms (unless otherwise indicated) back in January 2019 and dubbing the program New Year New Beers.
These beers range from R&D for future releases, collaborations with other breweries, fanciful one-offs and anything else GD employees can imagine and we encourage your feedback!

The newest IPA in our portfolio achieves the winning Hazy IPA flavors and aromas we know and love with just 100 calories and 3.5 carbs. To brew a real Hazy IPA that clocks in with low calories and low carbs, we focused on ingredients that ensure high returns in taste and aroma. In addition to traditional malted barley, our brewers incorporated wheat and oats for fuller body, as well as an abundance of southern hemisphere hops. Details:Black Shirt Brewing Co will release a new all German ingredients/Czech-style Pilsner, Gambol, this Friday, October 18. Alongside that, we’ll be introducing a new menu item: scratch-made soft pretzels. Dusted with fleur de sel and served with a side of beer mustard, our soft pretzels and a pint of Gambol take a traditional pairing and elevate it, Black Shirt-style. Gambol is made with 100% German ingredients (100% pilsner malts, five different varieties), and dry hopped with Hallertau. The beer employs a different yeast blend than our previous pilsner, Alacrity.

Details: Join us October 19th for the launch party for Pride & Patriotism, a light amber lager – our collaboration brew with the Colorado Veterans Project. $1 from every pint sold of the entire batch of this beer will be donated to help local Colorado Veterans in need.
We are so excited and honored to be able to work with the folks doing great work at the Colorado Veterans Project, as well as our other amazing partners for this collaboration – Inland Island Yeast Laboratories, Mint & Serif Coffee House, and CO Craft Butchers – that we decided the only proper way to celebrate was to kick off with a party!
Colorado Craft Butchers will be on-site roasting up some delicious, local Wagyu beef for $14/plate from 2pm – 6pm (or until they run out!) There will be live music and loads of fun to be had by everyone!

Details: Halloween is a time when you can be anything you want. Helter Seltzer, our first hard seltzer, wants to be *the* beverage for Halloween 2019, and we’re celebrating with a black light party and silent disco on October 19!
Helter Seltzer is a hazy, fruity grain-free beverage created with fresh pineapple and liberally dry hopped with Citra and Columbus hops to create a FRUITY, JUICY and slightly HAZY beverage without any of that pesky IPA bitterness!
That’s right, the hazy and seltzer fans alike can unite over this ground-breaking beverage. To top everything off, Helter Seltzer actually GLOWS UNDER A FREAKING BLACK LIGHT.
Starting at dusk, the normal lights will be off, the black lights will be on, and the seltzer will be flowing! We’ll have prizes for the best black light costume, and other prizes to award throughout the night.

Chili Cook-Off for Charity @ Seedstock Brewery (Denver) – 3610 W Colfax Ave, Denver, Colorado
Date/ Time: Sunday, October 20 from 4:00- 7:00 p.m.
Details:What better way to show off your chili skills than a cook off for charity? All proceeds will go to Bienvenidos Food Bank. Cook off starts at 4pm and voting ends at 7pm. The winner will be announced by 7:30pm.
Everyone who participates in the cook off will earn themselves a *free* beer. First place winner receives a $20 gift card and second place gets a $10 gift card. It is free to enter!
Tasters get one raffle ticket to pick their favorite chili. Cash and food donations accepted from anyone who wishes to taste.
