That Late October Dual Can Release @ Novel Strand Brewing Company (Denver) – 305 1st ave, Denver, Colorado

Date/ Time: Wednesday, October 30, from 3:00–10:00 p.m.

QUEEN OF ALL EVERYTHING
100% African Queen hops from South Africa. You guys know the story… this hop has one of the most unique flavor profiles you can encounter; raspberries, black currants, Rooibos tea, a bit of peach-mango, no dankness, no bitterness. 7,2% ABV, $18/4pack ($7 in-house can)

2>1: AFRICAN QUEEN + STRATA
In this beer series we only use 2 hops varieties per batch, added at the same time at equal portions at every step and every hop addition. This volume showcases the synergy between African Queen (SA) and one of the best new hops out of the good ol’ USA (at least in hour humble opinion), Strata. Massive, massive, massive waves of passion fruit and mango, with a cool and relaxed berry flower character weaving through. Absolutely fantastic hop pairing. 7,0% ABV, $18/4pack ($7 in-house can)

Medianoche de los Muertos & Midnight Eagle Bottle Release @ WeldWerks Brewing Company (Greeley) – 508 8th Ave, Greeley, Colorado

Date/ Time: Friday, November 1 from 12:30- 10:00 p.m.

Details: We’re excited to announce the release of two more exciting projects from our barrel program– Medianoche de los Muertos and Midnight Eagle! Tickets will go on sale promptly at 10:00 AM MDT on Saturday, October 19th. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE DETAILS BELOW and on the Eventbrite page before purchasing tickets.

Medianoche de los Muertos
The blend for this very special batch was selected from freshly emptied bourbon barrels, ranging in age from 6 to 11 years, used to age Medianoche for 19 months, expressing notes of toffee, baker’s chocolate, brownie batter, and sweet vanilla. Drawing inspiration from the Mexican holiday Día de Muertos and the desserts and drinks that accompany it, we conditioned the beer on Ibarra Mexican sweet chocolate, vanilla beans from Veracruz, Mexico, cinnamon sticks, and raw, unprocessed piloncillo panela sugar. 14.5% ABV. Available in 22 oz bottles to-go for $32 each, with a limit of 2 bottles per person.

Midnight Eagle
This very special collaboration project began way back in October 2017, when we partnered with Kyle Harrop of Horus Aged Ales out of Oceanside, CA to brew the biggest, richest base stout we had ever produced. With so much malt complexity from the base beer, we needed an equally complex barrel regimen, so we aged this monster in a mix of freshly emptied rye, brandy, and bourbon barrels for 24 months. After its long slumber in barrels, we conditioned the beer on a very special batch of Ethiopian Sidama coffee, which was hand-selected and roasted exclusively for the Midnight Eagle project by our friends at Mostra Coffee in San Diego, CA. This rare find from the Sidama, Bensa region in Ethiopia was honey-processed with anaerobic fermentation, producing notes of caramelized honey, dark chocolate, sugar cookie, and toffee. Finally, to complement the richness imparted by the stout, barrels, and coffee, we conditioned the beer on Madagascar vanilla beans, lending a sweet, creamy finish. 15.3% ABV. Available in 22 oz bottles to-go for $34 each, with a limit of 2 bottles per person. Note: Due to the delicate nature of the Sidama coffee used in this beer, we recommend enjoying Midnight Eagle as fresh as possible, and WE DO NOT recommend cellaring this one for longer than a few months.

Tickets will be sold online exclusively through Eventbrite, and tickets must be exchanged for bottles in person at the brewery between Friday, November 1 and Sunday, November 3 during our normal taproom hours. Here are our taproom hours for that weekend:

Friday, November 1st: 12 pm to 10 pm
Saturday, November 2nd: 12 pm to 10 pm
Sunday, November 3rd: 12 pm to 7 pm

If you are unable to pick up bottles during the pickup window, PLEASE, DO NOT BUY TICKETS! Tickets must be purchased online and will not be available for purchase in person. Tickets will go on sale promptly at 10:00 AM MDT on Saturday, October 19th. Be sure to read all of the details on the Eventbrite page before purchasing tickets!
