Sycamore Brewing | Rising Hope IPA
Sycamore Brewing out of Charlotte, North Carolina, is partnering with Brewing Funds the Cure to release Rising Hope IPA on Friday, October 2. One hundred percent of proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
The Rising Hope project was started by Brewing Funds the Cure, an organization founded by Cigar City Brewing and Brew Bus Brewing in Tampa, Florida. Brewmasters at Cigar City and Brew Bus crafted the recipe for Rising Hope IPA. Now, breweries across the nation are brewing their own version to raise funds for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
This project is currently limited to one participating brewery per state. “Sycamore was honored to be selected by the project as the only brewery in North Carolina to produce this beer for 2020,” said Mark Larkin, marketing manager at Sycamore.
Country Malt Group and Yakima Chief Hops donate 100% of the ingredients needed to brew this special beer. Additionally, Amoretti Fruit generously donated ingredients: the 2020 recipe features raspberry, blood orange, and Bulgarian rose.
Rising Hope will be released on Friday at Sycamore’s South End taproom, and will be available for local delivery and pick-up at SycamoreBrew.com. It will also be available in Charlotte-area bottle shops and on draft at select locations.
