Brunch Fest 2023 | Lost Friend Brewing Co.
Calling all beer and brunch fans! Lost Friend Brewing Co. of Colorado Springs will be hosting its inaugural Brunch Fest on Sunday, July 30.
Summer weekends are made for brunching, and Lost Friend Brewing Co. (LFBC) couldn’t agree more. They are hosting Brunch Fest on Sunday, July 30, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.!
Special Beer Releases and Drink Specials
Three new beers will debut at Sunday’s event. Brunch-goers can grab a pint of the new Maple Brown Ale, a Lemonade Milkshake Hazy IPA or the Lemonade Sour. “Ryan [Moccia, LFBC Head Brewer] and I made all the new releases together,” said Andy France, co-owner of LFBC. “We just tried to find some breakfast flavors that would work well together.”
Lost Friend will also have specials on other drinks, specifically on beermosas, micheladas and a cold brew coffee slushy.
The Ultimate Breakfast Party
“We love breakfast foods,” said France. “We wanted to get food trucks out of their comfort zone to try something new.”
Ticketed guests are in for a treat. Local food trucks will be creating fun, breakfast-themed samples to pair with the brews. Adults have 10 samples included with their ticket, and kids’ tickets include five samples. Through a group voting process, cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 trucks.
This year, the following trucks are confirmed at the time of publication:
- Tepex Central Mexican Cuisine
- Ricky’s Island Cafe
- The Original Dr. Taco
- Kabob Kaboose
- Solsage Food Truck
- Bowl in the City
- Crepes-N-Go
Bring the Kids, Bring the Pups!
Tickets are available now on their website. Getting tickets ahead of the event is a good idea, as they go up by $5 each at the door. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. While tickets are required for the brunch samples and voting, this family-friendly event is open to the public. Stay up-to-date on Brunch Fest by visiting LFBC’s Facebook page.
And, as always, dogs are welcome to join in on the fun.
Don’t miss this almost-end-of-summer brunch-palooza!
