The holidays are right around the corner and, let’s be honest, they can’t get here soon enough. The Big Man may be loading some extra coal onto his sleigh this year, but that doesn’t mean we should do away with good spirit and cheer. In these trying times, I find connection and community (and beer) are a suitable remedy for a case of the bah humbugs. 

Set The Scene

This time of year, I’m nagged by nostalgia. I recall in the late 1900s… apologies, I had to wipe the dust off my keyboard after typing that out… where was I, ah yes, the year was 1996, maybe ‘97. Eyes aglow, I unwrap a box to uncover a Nintendo 64. Needless to say, I was an exhilarated grinagog, and I’ve been searching for that same feeling ever since. Other memories entail cookies, snow days, and advent calendars with chocolates, mints, bouncy balls and jacks hidden behind its doors. Someone should bring back those calendars and gear them toward adults tired of reminiscing over the ghosts of Christmases past. Enter scene, a brewery, of all things. 

The Details

Move over Red Ryder Carbine-action, 200-shot range model air rifle, this is a job for beer. Thanks to the craft beer pioneers over at Dogfish Head, you no longer have to peruse the interwebs endlessly in search of the perfect gift for the craft beer lover in your life. It’s worth noting that it is totally acceptable if that person is you. Behold, the 24 Days of Dogfish Head Package. This perfectly put-together parcel contains Dogfish goodies galore aka ten beers, six RTD cocktails, eight pieces of merch and a partridge in a pear tree.
