Telluride Blues & Brews Festival Revamps with New Brewers Showcase

The Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is changing its beer programming in a big way for 2022. This year, the festival is holding five different sessions and a more intimate experience with its new Brewers Showcase. Guests can speak with breweries and try a variety of new, classic, and rare craft beers in each different session. In previous years, the Saturday of the festival featured one session known as the Grand Tasting.

Over 65 Colorado Breweries Creating Benefit Beer Colorado Strong IPA

During the initial phases of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Colorado Brewers Guild (CBG) and the Left Hand Brewing Foundation joined forces to raise funds for the Colorado craft brewing industry by creating a benefit beer, Colorado Strong. For 2021, Colorado Strong returns as an India Pale Ale where proceeds will go towards the Colorado chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) as well as the CBG in support of membership fees and other CBG programs.

Epic Brewing | 2021 Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout Variants Preview

For the previous 10 years, Epic Brewing of Utah and Colorado produces Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, a stout aged in whiskey barrels with added cacao nibs and coffee. It is a delightful beer, the ingredient flavors are recognizable, and it is high in ABV at 11.7%.
