WeldWerks Brewing Celebrates Life As An Eight Year Old

This past weekend I went to an 8-year-old’s birthday party. It was awesome: I gorged myself on candy bars, played a ton of cool video games, and ate stacks of french toast until it was time to take a nap. Of course, the birthday party was for WeldWerks Brewing Co., so things were a little unique.
2023 Collaboration Fest Official Beer List Features Over 120 Collabs

With just under two and a half weeks away from the 2023 Collaboration Fest, the Colorado Brewers Guild has finally revealed its official pour list for the festival. The one-of-a-kind event, which brings together local and national breweries to brew distinctly unique collaboration beers designed specifically to be showcased at the event will feature over 120 beers from over 170 collaborating breweries.

New Belgium Brewing’s Lost in the Woods Celebrates La Folie in (NYC) Style

Where in the world can you find beautiful people in cutting-edge fashion, bodegas overflowing with your favorite junk food, and giant sentient rats eating pizza? Usually I’d say only in New York, but this past weekend, that answer got updated to include New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colorado. New Belgium’s annual Lost in the Woods party brought the Big Apple to the snowy mountains this year, and the result was a bustling bash that channeled all the best parts of Manhattan without that tangy subway smell.
River North Brewery | Anniversary 11 Quadruple Barrel Aged Stout

River North Brewery has gained a reputation for pushing the envelope when it comes to ABV, and for their 11th anniversary they have turned the dial all the way to 11. Or perhaps that is all the way to 23, matching the monstrous alcohol percentage of Anniversary 11, a quadruple barrel aged Stout that pushes ABV boundaries. River North is ringing in Year 11 with an emphatic statement of a beer that deserves to be talked about.

The 2023 Collaboration Fest, which this year moves to The Westin Westminster for the first time, will feature 175 participating breweries collaborating on over 120 beers.

Eighth State Announces Altered State Week of Events

While some may be content to spend New Year’s Eve huddled amongst freezing masses for hours on end or in a crowded club struggling to reach the bar, the discerning Coloradan will wisely seek out a local brewery for a more relaxed and enjoyable vibe. Many breweries throughout the state have events planned in the hours leading up to New Year’s, so we have assembled a list of those here. Whether you want to catch some live music, eat a multiple course beer dinner or try some special beers, there is something here for every beer lover. We might be a little biased, but supporting local journalism is critical not only to maintaining a democratic society but also to providing platforms for small businesses and individuals in industries like craft beer.
Unfortunately over the last decade, countless numbers of publications have suffered from budget cuts, key departures, and in some cases closures. In the beer industry alone, we’ve seen notable departures from peers like DRAFT Magazine, BeerPulse, The Hop Review, and All About Beer Magazine before it was eventually revived earlier this year.
