Colorado has long held a reputation for strong showings at the Great American Beer Festival, and while this year was no different, Colorado breweries had a solid showing after totaling 21 medals after tallying 25 the previous year.

Left Hand Brewing Opens New Outdoor Venue
August 17, 2021 | Elijah Rivera 1Left Hand Brewing Co., a bastion of independent craft beer, threw a weekend-long party on Aug. 14-15, 2021 to celebrate the opening of their new outdoor venue, The Garden. The Longmont, CO-based brewery, a top 50 U.S. craft brewery well known for its Nitro series, constructed an inviting, 41,000 square foot open-air event space right next to their taproom. The dog-friendly space is anchored by a custom-made ROXBOX bar with six draft lines and plenty of fridge space for a variety of canned beverages.

It’s a question that was answered by one Denver Beer Co. enthusiast when he won the auction for the “Beer for Life” NFT recently for 4.33 of the Cryptocurrency Ethereum (roughly $9,200 USD at the time of purchase).
“We like to play on the edge of the news and be fresh and try new things,” says Denver Beer Co.’s Co-Founder Charlie Berger. “We had to learn about NFT’s. Not many people knew about them nine months ago. We really just wanted to just try it, and we wanted to learn about it by creating it.”
V.S.O.J. Once Again Shines in Revolution’s Summer Deep Wood Release
July 16, 2021 | Mike ZollerWhen Revolution Brewing opens its doors to the public Friday to launch the latest batch of Deep Wood beers, it will be the first no-restrictions in-person beer release event in the city of Chicago since the pandemic began.
A staple of previous Revolution beer releases, the taproom party featured drafts of the beers being released as well as some rare and special drafts for people to try. Over the past year and a half, the brewery had to settle for curbside pick-ups as the pandemic restrictions remained in effect.
