July 25, 2023 | Jennie OlsonThese days, I don’t go to the movie theater often. But today is an exception, with a back-to-back movie extravaganza. That’s right, I’m fully embracing the #Barbenheimer craze. To celebrate Oppenheimer‘s explosive debut, let’s take a trip down memory lane to revisit some of the cast’s past iconic performances. Oh and in true #Barbenheimer style, don’t forget to check out Emma Wargolet’s Barbie Ultimate 6er once you’ve finished sipping on this one.

Ultimate 6er | 2023 MLB Home Run Derby
July 10, 2023 | Brandon CohranIt’s been an ongoing narrative for the past few seasons, but 2023 is a true testament that Baseball is fun again. There are plenty of reasons why this season is so awesome – Shohei Ohtani doing things that have never been done, a healthy Ronald Acuna Jr. keeping the Braves on a path for October, Elly De La Cruz and Corbin Carroll scorching a new meaning for Rookie of the Year – all while payrolls bust the bank and foundation (looking at you, Mets). All of that happened in the first half of the season nonetheless. Read More

Ultimate 6er | Six MN Breweries to Pair with Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour
June 23, 2023 | Jennie OlsonI’m sitting here drinking a beer and counting down the minutes until my Eras Tour bound flight departs for Minnesota. After canceling her 2020 tour due to the pandemic, the last time Taylor Swift toured publicly was in 2018. So you might say this tour has been a long time coming. Despite being in the game for nearly 20 years, Taylor Swift continues to reinvent herself tapping into new channels of creativity and producing banger after banger. A similar thing can be said about the craft brewery scene in Minnesota. So grab a glass with me and let’s toast to Taylor as we journey through the land of 10,000 lakes.

June 22, 2023 | Eric GriffinDuring this craft beer boom, the industry has provided so much more than just a new and exciting wave of beer styles, techniques and breweries. It has also created an outlet and newfound respect for the arts. Artists all over the country have found support and work from breweries looking for anything from taproom murals to label art to small batch glassware and other merch. Many breweries have even involved the arts at their events as a continued means of support. In fact, this was a huge focus of The Eighth State Brewing’s Altered States Festival in Greenville, SC. One field of artistry in particular that has really popularized itself in the craft beer community recently has been woodworking.
