BREAKING | 2024 World Beer Cup Results Announced
April 24, 2024 | PorchDrinking.com StaffIt wasn’t all just hitting the sprawling buffets and blackjack tables at this week’s Craft Brewers Conference. There were some additional big winners as some of the world’s top breweries were once again recognized today at the 2024 World Beer Cup.
This year’s World Beer Cup awards took place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of this year’s Craft Brewers Conference. Launched by the Brewers Association in 1996 to celebrate brewing and brewers across the world, the World Beer Cup is often referred to as “The Olympics of Beer Competitions.”
FoBAB | 2021 Festival of Wood and Barrel-Aged Beer Awards

After a pandemic-induced hiatus in 2020, the Festival of Wood and Barrel-Aged Beer (FoBAB) returned in 2021, although the masks and vaccination requirements offer a stark reminder that things aren’t quite back to normal. And that’s what made every sip of every strong barrel-aged beer, fruited sour or wild ale even more enjoyable. The awards ceremony returned, too (not streamed). We are happy to provide you a recap of the 2021 FoBAB Awards. Congrats to Charlotte’s Resident Culture Brewing for winning Best in Show, and to Chicago’s Revolution Brewing for winning the Runner Up award.
2020 FoBAB Winners Announced | Cider Makes Best of Show History

Colorado Breweries Shine Bright at 2019 GABF Awards Ceremony

Colorado breweries took home a whopping 40 medals and two brewery/brewer of the year awards at this year’s GABF. Of the 40 medals, 13 of them were gold medals, 21 silver and six bronze.
