Ultimate 6er | Denver-Area Cinco de Mayo Beers
May 4, 2022 | Britt AntleyCinco de Mayo is nearly upon us, and to commemorate this day of celebration for Mexican-American culture, many Denver area breweries have brewed special recipes honoring Mexican tradition. A holiday that generates beer sales that rival that of the Super Bowl, Cinco de Mayo has become synonymous in America with parties that celebrate all aspects of Mexican-American culture from history to traditions to food and of course alcohol. While you celebrate with friends and family on May 5, look for the below brews to properly ring in the occasion.
Beer Showcase Double-Header | Special Hell and Beer Drinks You
January 4, 2019 | Bryan OldhamThe holidays have come and gone, and we now enter the season of the Dry January truthers. If you are not one of those people, you’ve come to the right place. Denver breweries are not going to shut their doors this month, and instead will carry the holiday spirit into 2019.
Both Seedstock Brewery and Call to Arms Brewing created offerings for the winter season that are reminiscent of holiday beer pairings. While the ham and cookies might be long gone, these beers are still on tap and available to be consumed as long as these breweries will provide kegs.
Call to Arms Brewing | Really, Really, Ridiculously Good Tasting
December 12, 2018 | Mathew PowersThe nearly four-year-old Denver brewery, Call to Arms Brewing (CTA), won a 2018 World Cup gold in the Fresh or Wet Hop Ale category for a beer inspired by the crew’s love of Billy Madison with its More Like Bore-O-Phyll. In September, during GABF week, the brewery held its third annual F@#*ing Call to Arms Catalina Wine Mixer! Simply, the brewery deftly intertwines the art of sophisticated beer production with relaxed, easy-going fun. And, the recent release of Really, Really, Ridiculously Good Tasting (RRRGT), a farmhouse ale aged in Chardonnay barrels with Brett Claussennii only further cements that concept; one should not feel compelled to stick out one’s pinky—just kick back and enjoy a beer that’s really, really, ridiculously good.

September 28, 2018 | Constance Del RioAs the season is trying its hardest not to let fall happen, I am soaking up all the sunshine I can! The leaves are changing colors, littering the grounds; the sun is going to bed earlier, and the moon — I mean… it’s been bright and huge, I love it! I personally love fall and it doesn’t mean the end of porch drinking weather. So bundle up, light the firepit, and see What We’re Drinking.

Call to Arms Brewing | The Legend of Khores Ballroom Beer
April 28, 2017 | Adison ConwayI don’t need to introduce Call to Arms Brewing to most of you, because you’ve likely already heard all about it. I don’t need to tell you their Khores Ballroom Beer has become a staple in Denver, Golden and the rest of the world. I certainly don’t need to remind you Khores is delivered from a humble, though up-and-coming brewery modeled after an English-style pub in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood.

Quality. Consistency. Camaraderie. These three ideals serve not only as the motto to Denver’s newest neighborhood craft brewery, Call to Arms Brewing Company, but they also echo as a rallying cry to reclaim what the craft beer industry has at some times lost focus on over the past two years.
