Additionally, mark your calendars for Saturday, December 5th as our friends at Barquentine Brewing will be hosting a Holiday Toy Drive from 1-6pm. Barquentine is working with Denver Dream Center to help provide gifts for over 10,000 Denver kids this year and are seeking unwrapped gifts for kids aged 0-18. Barquentine will also be donating 20% of all sales during the event. Come out and help make a difference during this difficult year.

Things are looking up, though. Well kind of. Civil Rights leader and legend John Lewis passed away this week, leaving a legacy of pressing towards equality and continuing the narrative of fighting for civil and human rights. Great Divide Expansion Undeterred by Pandemic

Bucking the pandemic-induced trend of small businesses reducing operations or shutting down entirely, Great Divide Brewing Co. celebrated the grand opening of a new taproom in Castle Rock, Colorado, June 1. The opening of Great Divide Brewery and Roadhouse came just days after Colorado gave approval for restaurants and breweries to reopen. “We’ve got this beautiful place. Once they give you the all-clear you want to get it open,” said Great Divide marketing manager Matt Sandy.

The bar features 16 taps, along with a full-service restaurant, patio and brewhouse. The restaurant surrounds the brewhouse so customers can watch Great Divide’s brewers creating new beers. Read More
