March 1, 2021 | Jason MurphyWhat does one expect to experience while drinking a Double NEIPA? Are you looking for that tangy juice that hits your buds from the initial sip? Are you expecting that soft, pillowy mouthfeel that wraps around your palate like it’s being tucked into bed at night? Or, are you pining for that smooth, full-bodied liquid that plunges those tropical, fruity notes deep into your receptors telling your brain this is incredible? Maybe you can get lucky and find a beer that delivers all of that, and then some.
Track 7 Brewing | Rule G
April 15, 2019 | Zach Clevenger 1Track 7 Brewing, located in Sacramento, CA, has been producing a wide range of killer craft beers since they opened in 2011. For those who don’t know, the name Track 7 was selected due to the brewery’s proximity to the old Western Pacific railroad tracks, west of Curtis Park, as a nod to the integral role the railroad has played in the city’s rich history. One thing that keeps Track 7 relevant, aside from quality, is their ambition to try new styles and work with flavors that you don’t often see from other breweries. Track 7 typically releases two cans every weekend so there is no shortage of new things to try.
Russian River Brewing Company | Windsor Porter
November 27, 2018 | Robert FrenchRussian River Brewing Company is an iconic brewery, a brewery that started beer trends, even before we knew what beer trends were. They are also a company that methodically moves at their own speed, with their own vision.
Though there’s no question that Russian River could have expanded earlier, they completed their expansion on their own terms, in my mind further proving their dedication to, and love of, craft beer. The stunning new brewing facility is located in Windsor, CA, just about nine miles from their Santa Rose brewpub. The new location includes a multi-room restaurant and a bar, with both indoor and outdoor bar seating, along with separate tasting and gift shop areas.

Cooking with Beer | Grilled French Toast with Rumble Syrup
August 7, 2014 | Chelsea Mitchell 1You’ll never eat regular French toast again. Really, I’m not kidding, you won’t. Also, you most definitely will not go back to that plain, boring pancake syrup found hidden in the aisles of Safeway. Just. Say. No.
With this recipe, I shall convert you to a lover of the oaked goodness that is Rumble syrup. In case you need a little extra convincing, I’m throwing it on top of grilled French toast… that is first cooked in bacon fat. Yeah, you read that right – French toast, cooked in bacon fat, then grilled and finally topped with a glorious syrup made from a fantastic oak aged IPA. Let’s get ready to Rumble! Read More
