The Weekly Buzz | September 21 – 27
September 28, 2018 | Dan BortzAnother GABF has come and gone, and I spent the entire weekend working overtime and organizing my new house. I barely even drank. It was such a waste of my time and energy. On the bright side, I’m only seven days away from having a day off (followed by six more days of work). Until then, I’ll have to live vicariously through “Beer Twitter.” Good thing that never gets toxic! Anyhoo… here’s The Weekly Buzz!

The Weekly Buzz | June 29 – July 5
July 6, 2018 | Dan BortzThis week has been an absolute nightmare. I have been working ridiculous hours at my day job, and the cell service in my office isn’t even good enough to load Twitter. Luckily, Wednesday was Independence Day, so I had plenty of holiday posts to choose from. Prepare to feel very patriotic. It’s time to crack open The Weekly Buzz.

The Weekly Buzz | June 15 – 21
June 22, 2018 | Dan BortzThis week’s mini-rant is going to be dedicated to the horrifyingly low availability of craft beer in Myrtle Beach. Yes, I know that there are a few places with a halfway decent selection, BUT the Grand Strand covers a shocking long chunk of coastline. I don’t always want to drive 30 minutes round-trip just to grab a late-night sixer. Today I bought a four-pack of Miller High Life pounders in a Dollar General. That’s what I’ve sunk to. While I wallow in the depths of macro despair, I submit this edition of The Weekly Buzz.

The Weekly Buzz | March 30 – April 5
April 6, 2018 | Dan BortzWe here at PorchDrinking hope that you spent this week’s holy days surrounded by friends, family and fine craft beers. April Fool’s Day is a sacred tradition that MUST be observed annually, so that we may keep our rich heritage of tomfoolery alive and vibrant. Without it, we would lose a large piece of what we are as a species. To that end, here is a celebration of nonsense and shenanigans. This is The Weekly Buzz.

The Weekly Buzz | February 23 – March 1
March 2, 2018 | Dan BortzI barely drank any beer this week. The disappointment is very real. What compounds these feelings of regret is that I had to search for fun beer things on Twitter and Instagram all week. I do this all for you, dear readers. If I don’t, who will? I mean… I know you could just do it yourselves, but I like to feel important. Enjoy this edition of The Weekly Buzz!

February 23, 2018 | Dan BortzI’m not going to lie to you. I barely got on Twitter this week, and the bulk of that time was arguing the pronunciation of Hefeweizen with some podcasters. Despite that, I think I still managed to find a bunch of fun posts to share with you all! The most dominant theme was #DrinkItNow Day. I normally ignore made-up Twitter holidays, but this one seems worthwhile. Encouraging you beer-hoarding nerds to empty out your cellars is a mission I can really get behind! Open up that vertical of barrel-aged Stouts and enjoy The Weekly Buzz!

Either way, I’ve got a fun collection of stuff for you in this week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz, so make sure your boss isn’t around, crack open a beer and start scrolling!
