First and foremost, this week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz contains a big “Thank You” to all the veterans who have served this country. No matter what political affiliation you may hold, these people deserve our respect. Remember: It’s fine to disagree with your country’s motives for war or military action, but we, as citizens, must always continue to support the brave women and men who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Thank you to all the veteran’s who have served.
Now that the serious stuff is out of the way, grab yourself a beer. It’s time to get buzzed.

October is upon us, and that means a lot of different things. Fall seasonals are hitting the beer market, and “leafers” are flocking to New England to gawk at autumn foliage. For many in the Southeast, it means evacuating their homes in anticipation of a hurricane. This week in particular will also see a tsunami of brewers and beer enthusiasts slamming into Denver for GABF. To me, it mostly means jealousy because I’m stuck at home. Sixpoint Brewing – The Crisp

Although they are coming up on their 10-year anniversary, I did not become very familiar with Sixpoint Brewing until GABF of last year. Since then, it seems I am constantly introduced to more awesome facts about them. Not to mention their great beer. Just last night, I found myself in front of a phenomenal Chicago centric beer list, however I chose Sixpoint’s The Crisp, a combination of a German and Bohemian Pilsner.
