Step into a local bottle shop and pick up a can of fresh fruit smoothie is what the label of Untitled Art Tropical Seltzer Smoothie should say. Instead, the brewery’s bright and cheery can is offset by a white stripe with vivid orange letters screaming SELTZER for all to see. The Waunakee, WI-based brewery collaborated with Stockholm, Sweden-based Omnipollo to create what can only be seen as a marvel of modern brewing.

So school has started and it’s supposed to be sorta the beginning of fall. I don’t know where you are right now, but where I’m sitting we are about to hit a record consecutive days with 100-degree heat. It’s really, really hot. So what goes well with the insanely ridiculous heat? Air conditioning and a great craft beer. I’m probably the pickiest about my beer choices this time of year than any other, so take a look at what the PorchDrinking team is enjoying to help you beat the heat (unless you live somewhere with pleasant weather–in which case these are still great choices–and can I come visit?).

It’s the holiday season and everyone is buzzing around trying to find the best beer to share with friends and family. Most of us are also traveling to visit family—which means planes, trains and automobiles (like the movie, but hopefully less crazy). I personally took Amtrak to Grand Junction, Colorado, to visit family and it was great! What I did miss was the gas station coffee during pit stops. Thankfully, I was able to get the flavor without the hectic drive from California to Colorado!
