You’re impatient for the game to start. So, why not read a bunch of tweets about beer? This is The Weekly Buzz.

The Weekly Buzz | November 3 – 9
November 10, 2017 | Dan BortzThis week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz is going to be a little shorter than usual. It’s November, and cold weather has finally arrived, but I refuse to admit it and fire up the furnace. It is a brisk 54 degrees in my living room, and I will soon be departing to enjoy some free heat at my local gym. I might even work out, too! In the meantime, here’s some stuff I found on the internet. Cheers!

The Weekly Buzz | March 3 – 9
March 10, 2017 | Dan BortzWednesday was International Women’s Day and breweries took to social media in droves to celebrate the women who make the brewing industry tick. Whether you’re talking about CEOs, janitors, brewers, bartenders, accountants or salespeople, the modern brewing industry wouldn’t be able to function without these brilliant and hardworking team members. Since I don’t think there’s any other news this important, I present you a special International Women’s Day Edition of The Weekly Buzz.
The Weekly Buzz | February 10 – 16
February 17, 2017 | Dan BortzValentine’s Day fell this week, and I have reaffirmed my love for beer. It is the sun to my moon and the surf to my turf. I mean my kids and lady are great, too, but have you tried beer? They should write a romantic comedy about me and beer. It would be a smash hit. Any Hollywood producers want to get that green-lit for me? Well, anyway, I was on Twitter this week, and this is The Weekly Buzz.
The Weekly Buzz | December 2 – 8
December 9, 2016 | Dan BortzIt’s dark when I go to work in the morning. It’s dark when I come home. Rather than sit next to a sun lamp, it’s much more fun to crack open a few craft brews. It’s my prescription for enduring the darkness. Also, on an unrelated note, I am not a medical professional. Pop the lid off the bottle, start taking your dose, and enjoy this week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz! Read More
Holiday Survival Guide | Podcast and Beer Pairings
December 6, 2016 | Dan BortzCongratulations! You survived Thanksgiving. That was the first test. You didn’t explode in rage at an older relative’s questionable social views or crack under the pressures of cross-country travel. Christmas, however, brings a whole new set of logistical and emotional challenges. If the gift shopping doesn’t make you crack, another family meal just might. Luckily, there are ways to minimize the stress and ensure your holiday survival!
The Weekly Buzz | November 11 – 17
November 18, 2016 | Dan BortzFirst and foremost, this week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz contains a big “Thank You” to all the veterans who have served this country. No matter what political affiliation you may hold, these people deserve our respect. Remember: It’s fine to disagree with your country’s motives for war or military action, but we, as citizens, must always continue to support the brave women and men who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Thank you to all the veteran’s who have served.
Now that the serious stuff is out of the way, grab yourself a beer. It’s time to get buzzed.
