5 Questions With | Victory Brewing’s Founders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski
March 10, 2021 | Taylor Laabs 1Sustaining a business for 25 years is an achievement in any industry, but it is particularly impressive in the tumultuous and unpredictable world of craft beer. Downingtown, Pennsylvania-based Victory Brewing Company has been churning out Bavarian-inspired beers and other inventive offerings since 1996, establishing itself as a pillar of the Pennsylvania beer community and as somewhat of an innovator thanks to the rampant success of its Golden Monkey Belgian Tripel brand. Being able to properly execute a variety of European-styles, with Victory’s own unique twists, has generated acclaim and a passionate following for the brewery. With the brewery celebrating 25 years in business, I asked Victory Brewing founders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski about how they’ve been able to sustain success, their approach to community building, and what excites them about the craft beer market today.
Ultimate 6er | So Your Team Didn’t Make the Playoffs: Bitter Beers for Salty Tears
January 20, 2021 | Seth GarlandNo one really had a “great” sports experience in 2020. But for die-hard fans, sports was one of the pieces of normality (fake crowd noise and all) that kept us hanging onto sanity by tiny little threads. The kind of threads that fray from knock-off jerseys ordered on Wish. The kind of threads that protrude from a worn-out pair of pajamas you’ve been wearing for three days straight. Now that we’re just a couple weeks out from the Super Bowl, why not reopen some old wounds and take a look back at 2020?
Oktoberfest Beer Showcase | Victory Brewing Company Festbier

The OGs of Craft Beer | Victory Brewing Company – Prima Pils
August 23, 2018 | Dan BortzGermans don’t throw the word “prima” around lightly. It’s used to describe only the things that they believe to be truly outstanding. Often, this word is exclaimed in joy as someone enjoys a truly world class meal, beverage or experience. Believe me when I tell you that Victory Brewing Company‘s Prima Pils is worthy of the name and, at 22 years old, it is the definition of a craft beer OG.

Cooking With Beer | Beer Glaze for Beignets
March 9, 2017 | Samantha StoryFor those who have been lucky enough to go, New Orleans is a food mecca. Iconic creations such as jambalaya, fried catfish and po’ boys are abundant amongst the multitude of restaurants, bars and corner cafes. There is one item that is synonymous to this region, that embodies both the French influence of the New Orleans culture and sheer indulgence: the beignet. Sweet, crunchy, yet fluffy, the beignet in some regards is one of the simpler varieties of fried pastries. Usually caked with enough powdered sugar to create a white dust cloud with every bite, they are messy yet simply delightful.
