WeldWerks Brewing Co. | Citra Extra Extra Juicy Bits
September 3, 2019 | Jaclyn MenendezAh, Juicy Bits: The beer that launched a thousand hazy IPAs. WeldWerks Brewing Co.’s Juicy Bits may not have been the original New England IPA (the whole “New England” part should have given that away), but it’s consistently at the top of the list in terms of popularity and praise. Its tropical juicy hops character and creamy mouthfeel, along with its relatively wide distribution in Colorado, make it the perfect go-to for both hardcore and new-to-the-scene craft beer drinkers.
Because of the immense success of Juicy Bits, WeldWerks has had a lot of fun experimenting with that base, seeing how far they can push the limit on hops, flavor and ABV. This beer showcase highlights their most recent invention: Citra Extra Extra Juicy Bits.

July 12, 2019 | Justin CarterI don’t know about you, but the only thing the people I know are talking about is the newest season of Stranger Things. DONUT PANIC | Beer + Donut Pairings
June 7, 2019 | Karen MillsIf you donut know, National Donut Day is today! For all you beer lovers out there who indulge in a donut every now and then (perhaps with an emphasis on the “now”), here’s a pairing that will make your taste buds dance in joy.
There’s always some fun in pairing various foods, sweets, desserts, etc. with various different types of beer. This particular pairing puts an emphasis on the sweet. The dough-y fried/baked goodness that is a donut is such a sweet treat to enjoy on all occasions. So, in preparation for #NationalDonutDay, we hit up Voodoo Doughnuts and raided the beer fridge to create this perfect pairing.

What We’re Drinking | March 1, 2019
March 2, 2019 | Constance Del RioWhere did the time go?! How is it already March?! I’m always the one that forgets February is a “short” month (28 versus 30 days) so I totally forgot to throw our article together and here we are – Saturday! I promise to do better guys but today is my Thursday (yay Industry week) so I am now off to provide tours of the brewery where I work. Grab a cold beer and see what we’re drinking.
Ultimate 6er | National Pie Day Beer + Pie Pairings
January 23, 2019 | Karen MillsJanuary 23rd marks National Pie Day. For us beer lovers, it’s just another chance to create a fun pairing between food and delicious craft beer! For me, the idea came about after having visited WeldWerks for the first time. At the time, I’d make weekly trips up to the Boulder Farmer’s Market. There was one stand in particular that I’d make a guaranteed stop at, and that is My Mom’s Pies; they make some of the best pies I’ve tasted my entire life. One day, it hit me as I was enjoying WeldWerks’ Brambleberry Sour: why not enjoy a nice pie for dessert alongside a delicious beer? So, the experiments began. Here are a few pairings that stood out to me:

September 14, 2018 | Tristan ChanIn today’s landscape of experimentation and variety, it’s not uncommon for a brewery to diversify their portfolio with an ever-rotating lineup of new beers. However for a brewery that’s less than four years old, to be able to pull off over 100 new beer releases in less than a year, is an almost unfathomable feat.
What We’re Drinking | July 6, 2018
July 6, 2018 | Dan BortzThis week we celebrated our independence from the crown. Nationwide, record-high temperatures inspired us to drink the finest, coldest beers we could get our hands on. Not only did they quench our thirst, but they provided a diversion from the horrifying hellscape of our current government. Why have one beer when you can have six? This is What We’re Drinking.
