Pelican Brewing Brings Back Fan-Favorite Beers With New Retro Series

Some of Pelican Brewing’s most-loved beers are making their way back to store shelves. The new Retro Series begins with Umbrella New World IPA, a fan-favorite known for its bright tropical hop flavor and easy-drinking character. The release comes as the Oregon brewery celebrates 30 years and brings select favorites back following years of requests from customers.

Umbrella New World IPA is already available at all Pelican Brewing locations and select  Pacific Northwest retailers across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, according to a press release from Pelican Brewing.

At its core, Pelican Retro Series is a collection of  fan-favorite beers set to return to Pelican’s grocery shelf rotation. Pelican is currently  celebrating 30 years in business, and its beer library of the past boasts a large array of  award-winning and long-cherished beers. For many years, these beers have gone loved  but not forgotten, and thanks to continual requests by fans, Pelican has decided that a  few of the most often asked-for beers will be landing once again.  

The Retro Series starts strong with one of the most requested returns across all flavors  and styles, Umbrella New World IPA. This refreshing India Pale Ale boasts a prominent  kiwi and passionfruit hop character from exotic Ella hops, with a bright, sparkling color.  Umbrella New World IPA sits at 7.4% ABV, enjoyable at any time, rain or shine, so grab  an Umbrella and let it pour.
