What: Beer-centric Dinner Party with Eataly & Dogfish Head Brewery

Beer lovers in Chicago could potentially turn November 13th into a big craft beer day. Being held on the same day as Goose Island’s Bourbon County Stout Rare Day, Dogfish Head and Eataly will host a five-course dinner. Each course of the dinner will be paired with a Dogfish Head beer.

Most familiar with Dogfish Head will recognize 90 Min IPA but might not be as familiar with some of the other beers being poured. Choc Lobster, an American porter, is one that many in Chicago might not have had. Its availability is limited and it can only be found on draft. Dinner guests will also get a chance to try Higher Math – the brewery’s 20th anniversary beer.

While a Dogfish Head employee walks diners through the different beers, they’ll be paired alongside a dish from Eataly.

Robiola “In Carozza” with Citrus Reduction, Rosemary Oil and Hazelnuts

Lentil Soup with Bacon, Mussels, Dry Sherry, Tomato and Basil

Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Butter and Amaretti Cookies

7-Spiced Chicken Thighs with Roasted Cauliflower Agrodolce

Chocolate Soufflé Cake with Amarena Cherries, Crème Anglaise
