Budweiser Offers $6 Beer Gift Cards for Independence Day Celebration
Budweiser is launching a nationwide Fourth of July promotion that offers eligible adults a $6 digital beer gift card while supplies last. The program is part of the brand’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday and is designed to encourage people to come together over the holiday weekend. It also ties into Budweiser’s wider summer initiatives – including community events and charitable support.
In a press release, Budweiser announced that beginning June 29, 21+ Americans can visit us.budweiser.com/americatab, enter their information, and if verified, they’ll receive a $6 digital gift card to purchase a draught beer on Budweiser to celebrate the Fourth of July, while supplies last.
From backyard barbecues and summer concerts to ballgames and holiday weekends, Budweiser has been part of the moments that bring Americans together for the last 150 years. Now, as the country celebrates its 250th birthday, Budweiser is saying thank you with a beer on them.
Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch said: “For years, Budweiser has shown up for the moments that bring Americans together. This summer, as America celebrates its 250th birthday, we wanted to do more than mark an anniversary; we wanted to honor the people who make those moments possible. Covering America’s tab is our way of turning gratitude into action: to thank the hardworking people who’ve made Budweiser part of everyday life, and to give them a chance to share a beer, reconnect and celebrate the resilience and spirit that have defined this country for generations.”
In addition, Budweiser is celebrating the Fourth of July through longstanding support of Folds of Honor and limited-edition patriotic summer packaging that honors the people and moments that bring Americans together.
As part of Budweiser’s “American Beers for American Heroes” program, a portion of proceeds from all Budweiser sold in bars and restaurants, up to $1.5 million**, will support Folds of Honor’s mission of providing educational scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Together, Anheuser-Busch, its industry leading brands and dedicated wholesaler partners, have proudly donated $37 million, helping fund 7,400 educational scholarships for Folds of Honor recipients over the last 16 years.
Budweiser will continue its nationwide summer celebration through major cultural moments and the Folds of Honor tour, with appearances planned throughout Fourth of July weekend, including:
- Chicago Cubs vs St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field
- New York Times Square Ball Drop
- Los Angeles 250 Block Party

About Budweiser
Budweiser, an American-style lager, was introduced in 1876 when company founder Adolphus Busch set out to create the United States’ first truly national beer brand – brewed to be universally popular and transcend regional tastes. Each batch of Budweiser stays true to the same family recipe used by five generations of Busch family brewmasters. Budweiser is a medium-bodied, flavorful, crisp beer with layers of premium American hop aromas, brewed for the perfect balance of flavor and refreshment. Budweiser is made using time-honored methods including “kraeusening” for natural carbonation and Beechwood aging, which results in unparalleled balance and character.
