Perry’s Launches Two Hour Rule Wine Collection Supporting DAP Health

Perry’s Fine Wines & Liquors Palm Springs is launching a new limited-edition wine collection called Two Hour Rule that celebrates Palm Springs history and community. The wines are crafted in California and reflect the relaxed, creative spirit shared between Palm Springs and Provincetown. Each bottle also supports DAP Health, adding a charitable purpose to the release.

The wines will be available exclusively at Perry’s locations in Palm Springs and Provincetown, while supplies last, according to a press release from DAP Health.

Inspired by the history of Palm Springs and created to celebrate those who shape our community today, one dollar from every bottle sold will benefit DAP Health, bringing together a sense of place, history, and purpose in every glass. The Two Hour Rule collection features a 2024 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and a 2025 Sonoma County Colombard/Viognier blend.

Produced and bottled by Marchelle Wines in Sebastopol, California, the wines have been crafted with a beautiful balance of depth, complexity, and approachability, reflecting the sophisticated ease at the heart of the Palm Springs lifestyle. Each bottle sold will proudly support DAP Health’s mission to provide equitable, high-quality health care for all.

The Two Hour Rule name pays homage to a storied piece of Palm Springs history, and the city’s close links to Hollywood, which helped put Palm Springs on the map. In the mid-20th century, film studios required their stars to remain within two hours of Los Angeles during production, and Palm Springs, just close enough yet worlds away, became celebrities’ escape, a place to exhale and be themselves.

Thanks to the stars’ attraction to the stunning desert landscape, privacy, and freedom, a cultural icon was born that continues to attract visitors from around the world today. This cultural legacy is reflected in the vibrant, art-forward label design created by local designer Tom Dolle, which captures the spirit of freedom, creativity, and retreat that Palm Springs has long embodied.

“This launch brings together everything we care about — the joy of coming together with great wine, the celebration of the places we call home, and supporting those who make our communities better,” says Charlie Greener, co-owner of Perry’s with husband Billy Marshall. “Our homes of Provincetown and now Palm Springs share an extraordinary bond despite their distance: a sense of escapism, the pursuit of the good life, and a wink of mischief. This project celebrates that shared spirit while supporting the people and organizations that shape our community today; there is no better example of this than DAP Health.”

That bond between the coasts is deeply rooted. For decades, many have split their time between these two iconic destinations, spending winters in the sun-soaked desert of Palm Springs and summers along the shores of Provincetown. Both communities are known for their rich arts culture, LGBTQ+ history, and strong spirit of philanthropy, making this dual market launch especially fitting.

This is not Perry’s first foray into community-driven collaborations. “A central part of our mission is to help make the communities we operate in simply better places to live,” says Greener. The business has previously partnered with both the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, creating custom wines that help celebrate and support the incredible arts scene in both locations. “We are delighted to unveil the Two Hour Rule collection, which continues this tradition, this time spotlighting the incredible work DAP Health does to advance health equity in our community, and celebrating their role in making Palm Springs the incredible place it is today.”

“Partnerships like this are powerful because they meet people where they are — around the table, in community, and in moments of connection,” says DAP Health CEO David Brinkman. “Every bottle sold helps us continue delivering compassionate, inclusive care to those who need it most.”

With each purchase, customers are invited to raise a glass not only to exceptional wine, but to the enduring connection between these two communities, and the shared commitment to making a difference.
