3 Floyds Brewing Announces 2020 Dark Lord Release Details

3 Floyds Brewing

Those looking to snag bottles of 3 Floyds Dark Lord this year will still have to make the trip to Munster, Ind. to get their beer, but things will be quite different compared to years past with Covid-19 protocol in place.

In early March, 3 Floyds officially announced that they were postponing Dark Lord Day, scheduled to take place on May 16th, because of the increasing number of cases of COVID-19. It was unknown how the beer would be distributed until today when they announced on DarkLordDay.com the new set-up.

Similar to Goose Island’s Prop Day, Dark Lord will be available for curbside pick-up at the brewery. As in years prior, packages will be on a first-come, first-served basis starting Monday, October 19th at 3 pm CST.

Each package will cost $170 and include four bottles of Dark Lord, one bottle of a rare variant, and a tote bag. Customers can buy up to two packages and if you do purchase two packages, the rare variant will be different in each one while supplies last. Details on this year’s rare variants have not yet been released.

For pick-up, customers will select their day and time and will be required to be at the brewery during their designated time slot. The pick-up windows will be between Nov 5-10 from 10 am-6 pm. You will be required to stay in your car during your pick-up.
