Nearly 800 Breweries. 4 Sessions. 3 Days. Over 4000 beers. 60,000 attendees. This year’s Great American Beer Festival is without a doubt “Bigger. Better. Beerier”. The field has finally been set, and we now know which breweries will be part of this new super-sized version of GABF. As we do each year, we decided to break down that list for you and bring you the 2015 GABF Brewery list as well as those who are new to the field and missing.

Over the past five years, The Great American Beer Festival has swelled in popularity, with last year’s festival hitting 692 breweries in attendance. However that boom has also caused some growing pains as several breweries were shut out of attendance or were forced to choose between having their beers judged or on the festival floor. But the Brewer’s Association has taken great strides to improve the fest and still make it accessible to attendees. This year they’ve added an entirely new hall which bumps attendee capacity from 49,000 to upwards of 60,000 attendees. This also allows more breweries to participate and part of the expansion includes a Brewers Pavilion where the actual brewer will be on-hand to greet attendees and pour beers rather than volunteers.

Founders, Southern Tier, and Surly top the list of notable breweries who make their grand return to GABF after a hiatus.
