Gabe Bellegard Bastos
Gabe has been in love with Boston since he learned to cheer for (and obsess over) the Red Sox and the Celtics. Combining that love with his ongoing quest for delicious beer, he has gone from drinking Sam Adams Boston Lager in his Ohio dorm room to seeking out small-batch beers in warehouse nanobreweries across Bostonâs many neighborhoods. A student of science with a passion for chemistry, Gabe is also devoted to understanding the nature and behavior of the world beyond the lab, whether itâs the balance of ingredients and technique in a great restaurant meal or the right combination of processes required to produce a photograph in a darkroom. He hopes youâll find his tour through the hops, yeasts, and local ingredients of Boston as exhilarating as he does.
