Roundup | GABF Passport Offers Exclusive Beer Release Opportunities

As 2020 continues to shift all of our favorite events to digital platforms, this year’s Great American Beer Festival has introduced a digital brewery passport in an effort to give beer fans the opportunity to enjoy free beers, discounted merch, and in some cases, access. to exclusive beers.

For $20 passport holders will have access to deals from over 1000 breweries across the country. Several breweries decided to get creative in a number of different ways, offering free taster flights of beers entered into this year’s competition, tasters of medals winning beers from past years, commemorative GABF glassware, Anderson Valley is offering a free round of disc golf, Boston Beer is offering Sam Adams t-shirts inspired by their vintage design dating back to their first GABF, and several breweries are also offering pretzel necklaces to harken back to the festival experience.

You can also celebrate GABF at home with a wide variety of specialty beers available for pick-up or delivery from Molly’s Spirits

However, many more breweries are offering pass holders exclusive beer releases including breweries like WeldWerks, who is giving pass holders the first opportunity to purchase their highly sought-after Peanut Butter Cup Medianoche and Starriest Night Imperial Stout. We’ve rounded up as many of those as we could find.

The GABF Brewery Passport is now active through October 18 and includes access to the virtual festival, which includes sessions from the likes of Garrett Oliver, Natalie and Vinny Cilurzo, Ken Grossman, Marcus Baskerville, Tomme Arthur and many more taking place October 16-17.
