Vegas Beer Guide: Where to Drink Before (or After) You Hit the Tables

It’s not only about the beers from the casino bar in Las Vegas, but also about the variety of the local breweries and taprooms from the Strip to the Arts District. There are even several places offering craft beers in the Brewery Row of downtown, which makes it possible to combine beer tours into the itinerary of your casino visits. In case you do not want to miss anything interesting, you can find plenty of beer bars right in the middle of the Strip. Both light and refreshing lagers and tasty craft beers can be found there.

Keep To The Strip For Convenient Brew Time.

One of the easiest options is still Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas when you’re looking for some drinks on the Strip. Go Downtown For The True “Brewery Crawl”

When it’s all about beer, then go to the Arts District. The city’s Brewery Row program is targeted at a specific cluster of craft beer establishments, and there are several in close proximity to each other, making it an ideal place to drink in Las Vegas. Able Baker, Bad Beat, Cin Cin, CraftHaus, Hop Nuts, Las Vegas Brewing Company, and Nevada Brew Works are all located on the official city map, as are Tenaya Creek and Beer Zombies, a bit north of all the other spots. The first stop at Able Baker Brewing at 1510 S. Main St. is a good one. The taproom features over 30 beers, including IPAs, lagers, Belgian beers, imperial stouts, and barrel beers. 

Its signature pour is the Atomic Duck IPA, while anyone in need of a solid foundation before the next round of pints can enjoy burgers, banh mi, nachos, and more from the Arts District Kitchen inside the brewery’s taproom. Nevada Brew Works at 1327 S. Main St. offers whiskey in addition to a good selection of beers and foods, just a short walk away. It’s currently listed as a city in the city listing, and Visit Vegas features its regular listing and also beers like Lemondrop Saison. The brewery also has a long-standing association with the charity as a charity brewer, with proceeds from beer raised for kids with life-changing disabilities. The brewers’ sense of community is another aspect of the beer experience, and a way for visitors to have a beer made with thoughtfulness and support a cause beyond the tap.

Add Hop Nuts And Cin Cin To The Route

Leading the way since 2015, Hop Nuts Brewing is one of the neighborhood’s beer hangouts. It places a strong emphasis on hoppy styles in its Main Street taproom and is always changing its lineup, making it a taproom for regulars. It’s also a good spot for a crawl as it’s close to a number of other beer-and-pub haunts. Cin Cin Brewhouse & Seafood Bar is another beer bar that opened in 2024, bringing something new to the Brewery Row lineup. The Brewery produces the beer on site and offers it with oysters, sushi, and seafood. 

It’s on a rotating schedule now, serving daily $1 oysters, and the taproom is open until 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 1 a.m. Friday-Saturday. The other recent change to be aware of is Bad Beat Brewing’s relocation from Henderson to the Arts District in August 2025. It is now located on Main Street, adding another downtown option alongside the area’s growing lineup of brewpubs for beer hunters exploring the downtown brew cluster.

Finish Around Fremont Street

There’s a way to enjoy beer and classic downtown casino action all on one street, and it’s Fremont Street. The Trip7 Restaurant & Microbrewery inside Main Street Station is still making its own beer, and Visit Las Vegas is now carrying six of the brews, including a rotating Brewmaster Special. A pint and food can be purchased within the casino prior to walking towards Fremont Street Experience. If you’re looking for a more historic end, Atomic Liquors (917 E. Fremont St.) has been open since 1952 and is considered Las Vegas’ oldest freestanding bar. 

After checking out the casino and lights on Fremont Street, it’s an easy choice because it’s located in Fremont East. Have current listings up to date for planning the crawl. The aisles of Vegas beer places shift, and older guides can be out of date. Banger Brewing Company, a long-time favorite on Fremont Street, closed in 2023 and should not be on any current list.

Pick Your Beer Route Before The Tables

For a Strip-based night, start at Beer Park, Beerhaus, or BrewDog and keep the casino hopping simple. The Arts District makes more sense for dedicated beer fans, with Able Baker, Nevada Brew Works, Hop Nuts, Cin Cin, and other Brewery Row stops packed into a relatively small area. Fremont works well as the final act. Grab a house beer at Triple 7, wander through the casino district, and finish at Atomic Liquors when you want something with more local history. And if you’d rather skip the physical trip and still get in on the action, you can play Bitcoin poker from pretty much anywhere, beer in hand. 

Vegas gives you plenty of options before the cards hit the table. Choose a few places to stop, snack between beers, pace yourself, and make sure you have enough energy left for the casino.
