Bourbon fans can now share a little of their favorite whiskey brand with their dogs, although not in the form of an actual drink. Holladay Distillery has introduced Bourbones, a new range of bacon-flavored dog treats inspired by the grains used in its bourbon. The Missouri-made treats contain no alcohol and also have a charitable side, with a portion of sales going toward animal welfare organizations.

In a press release, Holladay Distillery confirmed that the new treats are produced in Kansas City, Missouri, reflecting the company’s local roots. The launch also highlights the distillery’s commitment to supporting animal welfare organizations.

“We wanted to create something that was uniquely Holladay, but also something people could have a little fun with,” said Stephanie Taylor, Sales & Marketing Manager (Holladay Distillery). “Our fans love their bourbon, and they love their dogs. Bourbones brings those two things together in a way that feels natural to our brand, with the bonus of giving back to animals in need.”

That giveback is an important part of the Bourbones mission. One dollar from every barrel of Bourbones sold will support organizations helping animals in need. This year, Bourbones is spotlighting Wayside Waifs, a Kansas City nonprofit serving thousands of animals and families throughout the community.

Made with thoughtfully selected ingredients, Bourbones are designed as an occasional treat or reward, whether for training, good behavior, road trips, adventures or simply because every good dog deserves one.

The barrel-shaped packaging and bourbon-inspired name offer a playful nod to Holladay Distillery’s heritage, but the product itself is made for dogs – bringing together bourbon culture, pet ownership and Missouri pride in a way that feels distinctly Holladay.

Bourbon for you. Bourbones for your best friend.
