New / Returning GABF Breweries & Those Missing

Each year one of the best parts of the Great American Beer Festival is the fresh batch exciting new breweries as well as some familiar faces who made a grand return to center stage for the country’s largest beer showcase. However we also lose some familiar friends. We’ve broken down the new / returning breweries as well as those who sadly aren’t coming back for this year’s event.

2016 New/Returning Breweries:
This is the complete list of breweries who are attending GABF in 2016 who did not attend last year. Half Acre Beer Co., Jester King, River North, Terrapin, and Off Color top the list of notable breweries who make their grand return to GABF after a hiatus. Notable new ones to keep an eye out for include Blue Owl, Little Machine, Oddside Ales, Smog City Brewing, Spangalang Brewery, Toolbox Brewing, and Ursula Brewery.

2016 Breweries Missing:
This is the complete list of breweries who attended last year’s fest but will not be in attendance this year. The biggest disappoints include absences by Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Cellarmaker Brewing Co., DC Brau, Funkwerks, Lawson’s Finest Liquids, Paradox Brewing, Sanitas, Solemn Oath, Three Floyds Brewing, Wiley Roots and Yazoo.
