One Minute Beer Review: Ska Brewing Company’s Euphoria Pale Ale
It’s not often that a brewery’s winter seasonal is a pale ale. But, Ska gives zero cares about that. Their Euphoria Pale Ale not only works as a winter seasonal to offset the unlimited supply of stouts and porters, but also as one of their premiere beers period. Ska is no stranger to hops. Their Modus Hopperandi is probably the most hop forward beer I’ve ever had. Euphoria however manages to balance the yin and yang of hoppy and maltiness. What results is something that has just enough hops to count and a slightly caramel-y sweetness that follows. The crisp finish reminds me slightly of the brisk but refreshing first taste of snowfall for the season. And, it’s cans make for a perfect slope top treat. If you’re a fan of pales, this is definitely worth a try for the winter months.
