Event Recap | HOMES Nucleate Fest
HOMES Brewery hosted Nucleate 2024 on June 8 at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The festival was a well-executed event benefitting charity, full of fun times and delicious beers.
Nucleate 2024
When you walk into a beer festival and you are greeted with air dancers and Underbergs, you know it is going to be a good time. HOMES did a fantastic job of organizing Nucleate 2024. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and the weather even held off the threatening rain until things had wrapped up.
All proceeds benefitted Ozone House, which provides emergency shelter, safe space, transitional housing and counseling for homeless youth, LGBT runaway teens and families in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.
Attendees received 20 raffle-style tickets to trade for pours, which was more than enough to enjoy the day. Specialty “FOMO” pours were released on a timed schedule with at a specific table, preventing lines or crowds throughout the space. DJs kept the vibes alive, while food trucks, Dozer coffee and boozy ice cream were available to accompany the beers.
Veteran’s Memorial Park was the perfect space for the festival with ample space, tents for shade, and a relaxed atmosphere in the grass. Experienced attendees brought lawn chairs, but there were plenty of tables and chairs to relax between pours as well. Overall you couldn’t have had a better space or a better day!
